Why MOQ exists
Every style needs a pattern, a sample, a production setup and a quality check, whether you order 50 pieces or 1,000. With fewer pieces, those fixed costs are shared across fewer garments.
Fabric has its own minimum
Mills sell fabric in minimum lengths, especially for custom colors or prints. Stock fabrics allow the smallest runs; custom-dyed linen or a custom print may need a larger order or a fabric surcharge.

03 · Cost driversWhat affects the price of a garment
Fabric
Fiber, weight and finish. Linen at 140–220 gsm, mulberry silk and custom-dyed fabrics cost more than stock cotton.
Construction
Linings, tailoring, pleats, smocking and hand-finishing add sewing time.
Trims & branding
Buttons, zips, embroidery, custom woven labels, hangtags and packaging.
Colors & finishing
Pre-washing and garment dyeing add a step. Splitting one style across many colors raises the cost of each color.

Can I split my order across colors?
Yes. Each additional color adds fabric and setup cost, so the price per piece rises when one style is split across many colors.
Do you offer exclusivity?
Styles designed for you are exclusive to your brand. For styles from our existing portfolio, territory exclusivity can be agreed for committed annual volume.
